Assam CTC tea is a form of copper brown tea natural to Assam northeast part of India. This type of Indian tea is acknowledged for its strong malty flavour and briskness which is widely preferred not only in India but around the world. A common type of tea powder is Assam CTC tea generally consumed by boiling with milk and sugar. Assam tea is the classic tea black copper brown tea that is used in Masala chai recipes in India. The first CTC machine was brought into service in 1930 at the Amgoorie Tea Garden in Assam under the supervision of Sir William McKercher.

HOW TO BREW
