KADlien concept was born of an idea to interpret that when light passes from any particle through the conjunctiva of eyes or vitreous humor produces a diffraction pattern on the retina wall of eyes, which might look similar to Bohr's atomic model, that Friedrich August Kekulé spoke of the creation of the theory. He said that he had discovered the ring shape of the benzene molecule after having daydream, atoms of a snake seizing its tail form whirled mockingly before his eyes (this is an ancient symbol known as the ouroboros)., followed by stepwise logical thinking that has given birth to Benzene structure. The ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its tail. The ouroboros entered Western tradition via ancient Egyptian iconography and the Greek magical tradition. In the Aitareya Brahmana, a Vedic text of the early 1st millennium BCE, the nature of the Vedic rituals is compared to "a snake biting its tail." Ouroboros symbolism has been used to describe the Kundalini. According to the medieval Yoga-kundalini Upanishad, "The divine power, Kundalini, shines like the stem of a young lotus; like a snake, coiled round upon herself she holds her tail in her mouth and lies resting half asleep as the base of the body" ( source wiki) Such ancient knowledge, symbols, and cultural Folklore are important and should be preserved and rejuvenated back into our life again to connect the dots from past to future.

The founder of KADlien Dr. Achintya Kumar Das was a school-going kid who had a similar experience to Kekul’s dream,  which was published in 1992 where he devised a 10X optical device with diffused light to bring back Kekul’s dream of life experience for everyone as explained as the diffraction of light.

Since 2012, KADlien has been innovating and creating solutions through research-based business. It was formerly known as AMPHIBIA, a non-governmental organization founded in 2000 by a group of scientists and researchers from Guwahati, Assam, India. AMPHIBIA focused on rainwater harvesting and developed models to educate people about water management. Some of these models can be seen at the Kamakhya temple, the Sankardev Kalakhatra, and the Regional Science Museum in Guwahati. Amphibia also proposed to the GMDA to make rainwater harvesting mandatory for new buildings in the city.
