Darjeeling Tea.

Darjeeling tea that is grown and processed in Darjeeling or Kalimpong Districts in West Bengal, India.  It includes many varieties such as white, black, green, and oolong. Most typically, Darjeeling tea has a distinct aromatic smell and is thin-bodied, which makes it soothing and subtle.  According to Tea Board of India, First planted in the early 1800s, the incomparable quality of Darjeeling Teas is the result of its locational climate, soil conditions, altitude, and meticulous processing. The tea has its own special aroma, that rare fragrance that fills the senses. Tea from Darjeeling or nearby hills has been appreciated by specialists all over the world. Darjeeling Tea cannot be grown or manufactured anywhere else in the world, It helps to prevent gastric ulcers and obesity, as well.

 

HOW TO BREW

1. Fill both the teapot and the cups about halfway with hot water to pre-heat them. Tilt them a bit so that the water creeps up the side and then rotate them so the insides get wet all the way around. Then pour the water out.
2. Put 1 teaspoon of tea leaves into the teapot for every 8 oz. (236 ml) of water.
3. Fill the teapot with 80-90ºC (180-194ºF) water.
4. Place the lid on the teapot and let the tea steep for 2 minutes.
5. Pour the tea into the teacups and enjoy your tea!
